AmbianceX lets you control the Bluetooth ambient light kit installed in your car from your phone, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, widgets and Siri.
None. AmbianceX does not collect, store on any server, sell or share personal data. The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
The app uses Bluetooth only to find and connect to your ambient light box and to send it commands (color, brightness, effect). On Android 12 and newer, Bluetooth scanning is declared as not used to determine your location. On Android 11 and older, Android requires the location permission for Bluetooth scanning; AmbianceX never reads or stores your location.
With "Automatic light" turned on, the app uses the day / night appearance of the CarPlay or Android Auto screen to switch the lights on or off. This information is used only at that moment on your phone; it is not stored or sent anywhere.
Your settings (the selected light box, favorite colors, zone names, scenes, automatic light settings) and a technical log for troubleshooting are kept only on your device. You can delete them by removing the app. The log leaves your device only if you choose to share it yourself.
AmbianceX Pro is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Payments, subscriptions and free trials are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies; we never receive your name, payment details or account information. The app only asks the store whether Pro is active on your account.
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
